Last week, the offshore wind industry gathered in Copenhagen to discuss how to navigate the offshore wind recovery. With markets under pressure, WindEurope 2025 was a timely pulse check — and Aegir Insights was right in the middle of it.
Aegir kicked off the week by hosting our own exclusive event, welcoming clients and industry peers to network and exchange insights on the evolving offshore wind landscape. We welcomed Tanja Hedager from Maersk Offshore Wind, Maria Lindhoff Kjær from Equinor, and Andreas Nauen from Sandbrook Capital on stage together with our CCO Rikke Nørgaard, moderated by our VP of Business Development & Sales Matthew Delany, to discuss “Offshore Wind recovery: What pace, which markets, key driving factors?”.
We also had the pleasure of co-hosting a breakfast seminar on offshore wind in APAC with Asia Wind Energy Association, Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten and Aesen, where our APAC Regional Lead Analyst Simon Engfred Schlichting opened the event by sharing Aegir Insights’ global market outlook and how the Asia-Pacific region (excl. China) fits into this in these uncertain times. To close the event, Matthew Delany moderated a thought-provoking panel discussion, joined by eight leading industry voices.
Beyond these exciting events, Aegir Insights also had the privilege of participating in the Government of Nova Scotia’s event, where Premier Tim Houston spoke about how the province is working on routes to market to unlock its exceptional wind resource. Later in the week, our CCO Rikke Nørgaard joined Astrid Bergmål, State Secretary at the Norwegian Ministry of Energy, on stage at Aker Solutions’s event to share insights on the outlook for floating offshore wind.
